Sixteen of the twenty-nine 50-pence designs appeared in circulation before Christmas last year - although dated 2011. All 29 have been available from The Royal Mint in individual packs since before then. I'll let you know when the others are in circulation - we expect to see them just before Christmas this year. kena Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 1687 Posts	Posted 08/19/2011 10:45 am Yes, I agree about the Olympics 50 pence coins. I really want to see the Mary Rose or King James Bible £2 coins. Or the 4 capital cites £1 coins from 2010/2011. Those would be interesting. Maybe in 2013 things will improve for finding something interesting in circulation. Report this Post to the Staff
