After seeing a fellow member that is trying to build a tube of 1/4 oz coins I decided to embark on a similar journey, to fill a tube with 1/10 ouncers. Given the current price of gold and the premiums these little suckers bring it is getting increasing tougher for me to build. That being said, I started picking them up almost 6 months ago with my first tenth for $150. I currently have 19 of them at an ave cost of $185. I just placed an order for an empty mint tube that I would like to have filled by the end of 2012. My silver bug has turned into a gold bug pretty drastically.   |

I've been doing this same thing! But I'm only at 5, and two of which are proofs. my local coin dealer sells them at only 5% above spot, which is amazing, but he rarely gets the 1/10oz age, but I always pick one up if he has one!
Looks cool though!

You're putting together a nice little stack of them, that's for sure!  I really like the 1/10 oz AGE. They are really easy to move when you need to. |

Is the 1/10 oz. the same size as a dime?

I couldn't help myself. I went back to the local flea market and found this gold vault for $950. I traded a 10 oz engelhard and a random silver bar plus $480 in cash for this 1/2 oz of gold. I am up to 24 almost have way to the 50 it will take to fill up. He also had a bunch of slabbed 1/10 for $195 each, but I am broke. I wish I would have waited a day to sell my 90%. The guy today was offering 29X as opposed to the 27X I received yesterday, oh well. This coin/bullion collecting has really dipped into my Labor Day weekend Vegas Trip. I need to see a big week in silver it maybe time to dump a few hundred ASE.  |

They may laugh at you an I for buyin gold at these prices, but I have a feelin we will have the last laugh....
