Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Today I am thinking that it might be a good idea to store my coin collection in some sort of safe.

Ive got quite a bit of silver, more than anyone else my age that I know

A couple thousand dollars worth of silver probably shouldnt be left unprotected in my closet, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a safe that I should purchase to protect my investment/collection.

Any websites or brands you guys suggest will be appreciated and Ill look into each one

Just keep in mind that I'm under 20 and still in college, so nothing too pricey please

Happy Sunday

I think you should be looking at a model that would take more than two people to lift or one that could be easily anchored to the floor. This is one you may want to consider, it is bolt down ready.

There has been numerous posts about safes on this forum. I have no idea how to Link to those but possibly a moderator could do that. Lots of really interesting and possibly educational posts and replys.

I think I'd recommend a safety deposit box for a college student. I'm a afraid a small safe would just draw unwanted attention and be too easy to carry off.

I think if it is a bolt down ready a model then it can also be an UN-bolt down ready for crooks and two people can lift and take it away. how about a Bank safety deposit box or a PitBull dog?

Allergic to dogs :(

And a safety deposit box would be nice, however I am always browsing ebay and other places looking for coins to add to my collection and fill holes. I like to be able to look at what I already have before making purchases.

Also, this safe would be tucked away in a place where most people would never think to look ;)

Not really worried about getting robbed, its just a precaution against guests, small children, etc.

Thanks for the wise advice guys.

Hahah seems like a lot of pictures! I followed the site above and they have some smaller safes for decent prices seems like.
