In the turmoil that befell Delhi following the death of Firoz shah Tughlak in 1388.AD, Dilawar Khan, the Viceroy of Delhi sultanate carved out an independent Kingdom for himself. He assumed royalty in 1401.AD. His son Husam ud din Hoshang shah (1405-1432.AD) followed him. The sultan of Gujarat, Muzaffir, who himself was a filicide, alleged Hoshang of patricide, attacked him and imprisoned him!.

Truly fascinating coins! I am an American roll searcher, primarily - but I must admit the foreign coins I am finding in the rolls are starting to turn me to the dark side ... Once I get a camera I will post pics, (just 20th century coins) - but very interesting!

Help me Oby Wan Kenobe - you're my only hope!
