I see a 1 Rupee from this set for $10 BIN, but that isn't the one from your set.
As you may know, this set was not distributed and the mintage is less than 50 sets.
Although a very scarce issue, you still need to find a buyer and modern Indian coins have so many different types that it is a daunting challenge to attempt.
See if you can sell the set for $10K to the person giving you a 15-20K estimation.

http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/in...opic=43684.0Per the site above, a handful of these have sold in the last ten years. - The first set was auctioned by Baldwin at Hong Kong Auction for USD 5000.00 sometime in 2010. - The second set was sold on ebay for USD 4995.00 by seller "ynsingh" on 25th May 2011. - The third set was also sold on ebay for USD 4995.99 by seller "Cranko" 23rd Dec 2011.

Yeah. I'd think heritage would love to sell something like this for you.

Call ebay, and they will increase your selling limit. Then you can open an ebay store to minimize your seller fees. I had an item to sell and needed my selling limit increased. I contacted them, they asked a few basic questions about the item, and increaeed my limit.

@henrijusthenri: If your set is the same as those that have sold for $5,000 you need to contact Heritage again and more completely explain what you have because it certainly meets any minimum price they have.
Could they be concerned it is a fake set?

My gosh, 15k for a modern proof set? geesh. Well OP, contact Heritage again and mention it, they do sell world coins and are experts, perhaps they thought it was something worth much less, talk to them. Contact other indian collectors and see if they agree with the valuation of 15-20k and see if they want it

Put them into Stephen Album's auction - He specialises on that type of material and gets crazy prices.
