I have been working as a cashier at a grocery store all summer so I have found some interesting coins here and there. I was JUST complaining on here, about two days ago, that I have never found a silver quarter.

Well.... my sister works with me and happened to be next to another cashier who ended up with an ENTIRE roll of silver quarters! This girl had no idea though, and didn't realize it until halfway through the roll when a customer came back and asked for more! Hearing this, my sister ran over and bought the remaining $5 worth off of her.

If only I had ended up with the roll, I of course would have noticed immediately! I checked the roll and it literally said "all silver" on it. But I can't complain... my sister and I split our portion so I ended up with 10. Still pretty sweet, right? Have faith.... silver quarters are out there!

so what about the customer that came back and asked for more?
did he get more or you pushed him aside and you bought the remaining silver quarters?

How do these rolls end up with all silver? Were they made in 1964 and nobody touched then since?

We aren't THAT desperate. She bought a couple dollars. We all had customers at the time so my sister had to wait for a break to snag the rest.

And the coins were pretty worn, it looked like someone had been collecting them. It's kind go sad... it had to be a mistake that my store ended up with them!
