Hi,
the coin looks as if it was peeling on the front.
The reverse has some traces but does not present this phenomena.
Is this a defect or an interesting error that commands a premium?

Looks like a lamination error that is on the obverse and reverse. Lamination errors occur when the metal used was not mixed properly and has some sort or impurity trapped between the layers, thus causing it to peel or crack. Not really sure if there is a premium on this coin or not.

There are collectors for bottle caps... Might bring a buck or two.
