Indian1 Pillar of the Community United States 3640 Posts	Posted 09/01/2011 10:31 pm I was looking for some info on the above notes (sorry, no pics. yet) I may be purchasing 26 of these notes that are Unc. and consecutive serial numbers. I will get to see them tomorrow. An aquaintnnce of mine is selling off a lot of his coins/notes. He is retired 10th special forces and was serving over there when he bought many of these notes. The dates of these notes are pre 1990/91. That is all I really know about them other than what I listed in the post title. I am just trying to get an approx. value on them before I purchase all 26 notes. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

In the meantime I checked around and found 4 different notes (25 D) but they were dated 1989. They showed no images of the notes so not sure if it had sadaams image on them. The current owner stated to me that these were done (printed I guess with plates in switzerland) He mentioned one of them sold for $80.00. Highest value I found amongst those 4 diff. notes was $10.00 in Unc. Did not even thing of it being 1986. I will take a look at them tonight and try to get more info. Maybe he will let me borrow one so i can post some pics. of it. Report this Post to the Staff

Anyway to nail down the exact date ? I figured out the serial numbers. 93258 93259 93286 93287 93288 93289 Any values on these ? If nothing much then I will not bother getting more. You'll find the date in the bottom right-hand corner beside the large denomination in Arabic (1986-1406.) See my original reply for values.
