It's a mediaeval Serbian coin. A pic of the other side might help confirm this, but I think the best match is a silver dinar of Prince Lazar (1371-1389 AD).

Congratulations, Sap, you have done it again.

I Googled:
'prince lazar coins'. Searching through Serbian coinage history of this prince will reveal the other side of the coin in question.

It helps that I've just finished reading my new Spink book, "Medieval Slavic Coinages in the Balkans" by Dimnic and Dobrinic.

For most other mediaeval coinages, I'm still lacking good references.

bravo ! Lazar Hrebeljanovic coin , known as Prince Lazar, perished in battle against the Turks at Kosovo in 1389.
