My order status changed to "in process." I think that sounds like good news, hopefully I'll get all 5 I ordered. I did place my order at 12:15pm EST, so I feel pretty good about it.

Wait..... I ordered three sets altogether. Now I'm thinking I should have ordered them separately because the value is compromised when I open the box?

Wornslick thanks a lot for the link . Reading that makes me and I'm guessing that a few others feel a little better about our chance of getting a set . again thanks Jake

Yeah, I finally went back to the mints website and placed an order for one set just before 8:00 eastern time. I am not really expecting to receive it but this does give me a little bit of hope anyway.

Once the box the sets come in is opened none of them in that box can be graded as 25th anniversary sets. The two set only coins will qualify but the other coins in the set will not

Wonder if it's possible to call the mint and ask if an order for 5 be split into individual orders?

My order still says "on hold" also. I am not too worried about it yet.
I am kind of surprised that the 20th anniversary sets have such a spread between opened boxes and unopened boxes. $150, that is a big difference. But it is not going to stop me from opening this set when it arrives. I never intend to sell it anyway.

My order went from hold status to in process status with an expected ship date of 16 Nov. Got my order placed at 12:29 ET. If I understand some of the posts in this thread correctly. If you placed an order for 5, they will come in a sealed box. If you open the box to admire your new set, that will compromise the entire set if you wish to get at least one set graded. Will each set not be individually sealed i.e wrapped in a plastic sheet? Any clarification would be appreciated.

The intact outer shipping packaging is the only seal that the TPGs will accept. The mint does not individually seal items in an order. If you get more than one set in an order, opening the outer box breaks the seal and none of the sets inside are eligible for full anniversary set labeling. That is why you still see unopened boxes of 10 20th anniversary sets for sale.
