I just got a shipping confirmation e-mail (with UPS tracking #) for order #383*****...   ...for the 2011 Silver Proof Set that was in my online shopping cart along with my ASE sets!   Before noon on the 27th, I figured my odds of getting the order through might be better if I had an item in the online shopping cart already, so I added a Silver Proof Set to my order. My ASE's are "in stock and reserved".  Edited by DNA

DNA, nice tease! The neat thing is that you get two overnight shipments for $4.95 because they split the order. Since they charged CCs today, there is at least a chance that they will start shipping tomorrow (if the didn't tonight). My lowest order is 38326XXX at 12:14 (a coworker has 38325XXX at 12:06) and it and perhaps my second order (38330XXX) should leave Indianapolis on the first full day of shipping.

Is it just me, or do I sense a lot of excitement and impatience here ? .....  What will happen to these threads once we all have our Sets in hand ? ....  The daily/hourly/minute by minute updates on shipping and if the order is placed or isn't it placed ?....wondering if I'll get it at all......how will it be shipped....graded or ungraded.......shipped pushed out more days......whoa ! status changed on website ! I've advanced to another stage !.... .... All I can say is W.O.W. ! I do share the same excitement......but I've learned a long time ago with ordering things from the Mint. If you got your order in properly........ just forget about it and wait!Then one day, out of the Blue, there will either be a package on your doorstep.....or a postcard in the mailbox telling you to go pick up your package ! .... This Set certainly does seem to have captured the attention of the entire Numismatic world right now ! I wonder what peaks the Set (raw or graded) will be able to reach before the feeding frenzy subsides. |

Your trick shipping confirmation had a bit more reality to it than you thought.
Multiple reports on another board of shipped orders today..they ARE going out as we speak (or type)
