Sometimes I wonder if the lack of negative feedback to the sellers is due to the fact that so many buyers won't leave feedback until the seller leaves feedback for them first. Seller scams them but doesn't leave feedback and the scammed buyer just keeps waiting for feedback before they will leave it.

I also think that a LOT of buyers still don't realize that the sellers can't leave negative feedback and they don't leave a neg in fear of a retaliatory neg.

I've certianly left lower DSR scores for folks. I've not had opportunityy to leave negative feedback. Am to understand that if I were to check the box for negative, that I, as the buyer, would not be able to do so without some sort of significant hassle?

I never leave below 3 stars unless the person was a total scumbag....and I maintain that no one should because of the unfair 'standards' ranking system ebay uses that is solely based on 1 and 2 star ratings. Get ONE PERCENT 1/2 star ratings in 'item as described' and you're 'below standard'...and its against the rules to let buyers know this!

I saw the auctions for unsearched roles and decided I would look at the feedbacks to see if anyone
actually received a rare coin from the rolls. Most sellers, even with hundreds of feedbacks, just did not
have someone saying "RARE COIN FOUND."

Thus, I chose not to partake in the bidding process. When in doubt, check back through the feedbacks and see
if any rare coins have been found.

As for negative feedback, a buyer can leave negative feedback. Sellers, on the other hand, cannot do so. Thus, I think the equation on ebay needs to be revised. It is not seller friendly.
