Thanks all for your input. I will take the concensus
on this one at a 64 RB. Maybe without that ding on the rev.
and a few tiny rim scratches etc. there also, it may of gone 65. All in all not a bad pickup for $0.03
The album/albums I had picked up all at once were mostly browns etc. and the coins were not even in the right holes.
When I saw the red on this one I was just about to toss it
into that RB 50's pile. Glad I turned it over and looked :)
I also found 3 1909's and some decent M.M.'s in the teens and 20's along with a few indians. I was over at the sellers place looking to buy an 1898 $5.00 gold liberty and she brought out some other coins, a watch, silver necklace and pendant and other stuff. I never even looked at the wheats until I got home. She is a friend of my Mom's
so I will go back and give her some extra cash for the coins. You never know what you may still find out there
and if by chance you find even a small treasure then it's always a good idea to go back to the customer and let them know. You'd be surprised how they appreciate that. And it is always good for all involved. And by this I mean private type buys not dealers :) Hey, what goes around comes around.
