I was actually thinking the same thing. I sent Susan a PM the other day because I found something on the site that didn't look quite right, even being the novice that I am here. I have yet to get a reply. When I first joined the forum, we exchanged communications, and the replies were very quick. Definitely within 24 hours. Maybe they're taking a well deserved hiatus for a week.

The last thing I saw from Bobby was on 12/8 and thats when he responded to the "what happened?" thread. I haven't seen much of Susan though but I hope everything is ok with both of them and they are just busy. Its definately a busy time of year for just about everyone

Imagine how busy you get during the Holiday season. Then imagine being that busy, and also trying to run a successful website. Someone here has a sig which mentions being blurry because they're multitasking - that comes to mind with our Forum Parents. I imagine it's pretty hard to focus on them right now.

The last thing anyone wants is a Hot Topic about problems with your website. I suspect Bobby & Susan are diligently working on this, and will undoubtably need that hiatus before all is finished. Still a great website even with the growing pains.

with talk of a HUGE forum closing (it is just rumored but the Boss has already stated he wanted to shut it down completely) there is a chance this forum could grow really fast if that happens and everyone from that forum gets scattered trying to find a new home. I don't know if anything would need to be done for a growth spurt like that or not but if so they may be trying to prepare for that even if it doesn't actually happen

Itn't it possible that they just took a day or two off ?
Im pretty sure that even they need some time to devote to their family and relationship .
Lets not let speculation turn into rumor.

Hello everyone! Mom and Dad are AOK. They are very busy working a total of three jobs including the forum. This is a very busy time of year for them. I talk to Susan almost every day. She expressed concern on Friday that she has not been on the forum as much as she wants to be. Thank all of you for doing such a great job out there! Happy holidays, Mike P.S, I'm sorry I have not been posting much lately but I check in every day on the RSS feed. I hope to pick back up very soon. If anyone needs anything, any time, please mail me!!!! I will be posting a Holiday give away very soon!!!!

Hi guys. Jeez, I miss all of you. Thanks, Mike for posting that we are still alive and kicking. This is the busiest season for our coin business and our second job. We have been working 24/7 while still trying to see my kids for an hour or two a day. Unfortunately, even today, I'm only here for a minute. We have hit the point where we won't be listing ebay auctions again until after January 1, though, so I should be able to be back in a few days. I need a little time to do my Christmas shopping which has not even been started yet and make my house livable. The kids have kind of trashed it with me working so hard. I'll be back and catching up on posting as soon as I can. Thank you all for your concern. We are a family and it's nice to know that we all care about each other. I do want to share some very good news with all of you. My last cancer treatment has been cancelled. I only have one more left on December 27, some final tests in January, and a final follow-up in April and then I'm all done!! This is the best Christmas present I could have received. Thanks to all of you for being understanding and for keeping the forum running so smoothly. You are all a great bunch and I'm proud to call you my friends.
