Thanks nohope-I assume the original green holders were an early format for the slabs that they changed at some point.

Their slabs have gone through several versions a list of which may be found on their web site. Sellers mention the original green holders as a sales pitch. The theory being that back in the Day PCGS were a whole lot tougher on their grades and that a green holder coin is likely to upgrade if re-submitted. I personally think that they graded more correctly then and now its all about market grade.

OGH = Old Green Holder

This CAN refer to any PCGS holder produced before Nov 1998. Usually it is used to refer to those produced between 1990 and Nov 1998. Earlier ones are typically referred to as "rattlers".
