From ANOTHER site:
Someone was showing off their recent find, where a die crack made their Jeff to appear to have a date of 2065.
Kool enough. I posted as such, adding it looks PMD.
I received a couple nasty toned PMs telling me to educate myself. Now I have posted several error coins on here that weren't even close. It was too soon after a stroke to make a determination on anything. I believe an apology is in order, but from who? (me or the others)

I don't think it is PMD. It maybe a crack but it loos too smooth. There is also something going on between the 2 & first 0? I checked an overlay:
Die-Crack-Or-PMD?
There appears to be a possiblilty os something that could happen. But it does appear to be raised so it might be a die dent. Without the coin in hand it would be hard to say for sure what it might be?

LOL, I would tell them to learn how to take a picture that wasn't a pixelated mess I agree that it looks nothing at all like a die crack, the bright area close to the mintmark reminds me of what upwardly displaced metal looks like(i.e. damage from a gouge). Only a better image will reveal any more info.

Its hard to tell from the low quality pic. You can see where the light is hitting the end of the raised portion of the area in question as well as the shadowing on the other side. Its just hard to tell if it is a crack or some sort of PMD like a gouge that has displaced the metal.
