1997 LMC Die Clash?

Could this be a die clash of some sort? It starts by the "T" in TRUST and there is more between the bust and rim.Thanks,John1

I do not believe that this is a clash mark. There is no reverse design element that could transfer such a mark to the obverse die.

I always thought this was called a collar clash? When the die moves a little and bangs into the collar, leaving a mark on the die. I'm probably wrong though.....

It is a die dent. The die received a hit and left this small dent in it. All coins will struck after this will show this mark until they polish out the dent.
