Every now and then, questions come up on storage. We discuss the basics (inert materials, low humidity, temperature, etc.), but many times collectors overlook fire and theft protection. Here's a great article that covers it all:

Don't forget the insurance. Way too often the collector forgets to insure the collection. While fire safes are nice, they only offer so much protection. Be sure to include the coins in your policy.

A detailed list of all the coins with photos. Be sure to keep accurate records of the grades and values. Update the values twice per year.
