I recently purchased an 1878 cc in a GSA holder. I was examining it a bit closer on the reverse and noticed that the top of the eagles head had some doubling as well as the left wing was doubled. Unfortunately my camera isn't good enough to capture the doubling or I would provide a picture. I went through the VAM's listed on vamworld and could not find anything that looked similar. Any thoughts?

I would first just try to ID the reverse MM and then the obverse. Many things on a coin are note noted as the die is the die and all will have the same doubling or for that matter clash line or what ever If it is part of the given VAM.

So to start off just look to match up the mint mark and we can go from there.
