Sorting through some coins in a collection and saw this 1945 P 5C and could not find information on what happen to this coin. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

I do not see a "brake". Is it a pedal type or hand brake?

Lamination error fairly common on the War Nickel series. just my 2c worth

yup, lamination error - and they are so common on the War Nickels that they would bring less demand to the coin.
