I just got my first Dansco album and so far love it. What a nice easy way to display coins.

I am currently collecting the Nawlins Mint collection Morgan dollars and needed a nice way to display my non graded portion of my set. I went on ebay and ordered the "Silver Dollars" Dansco, the 7177 with blank pages. I bought this one because although I would love to have the Morgan dollar one, at this point, and the near future I will not be able to afford filling in the whole thing. Working on Nawlins now, and then the Philly or San Fran set next, and know I cannot currently afford the CC set while being in my last yer of college and needing to find a better job when I graduate. Also do not want a ton of blank spaces between all the coins in my book!

This album works perfectly for me as I can display my Peace dollars in it too. So, all in all, pretty excited about getting it and getting my coins in it.

Dansco's are the way to go (at least for me). I started with my first about a year or so ago and have 19 now. They really are good for being able to go back and check out your coins periodically. I have about 8 active sets and the rest for odds and ends that I pick up which really causes a problem-I have trouble concentrating on one or two sets. One thing I have learned about them, when I can, I try to wait until I have an entire row to put in. This keeps the plastic slides from getting scratched from moving them in and out.

I had been out of collecting for years. After restarting and reading CCF posts, I have converted all my Whitman folders. Mostly Dansco albums, with a couple Whitman albums.

sorry for asking what might be a dumb question, but what is the nawlins mint collection
I didn't know it, so I figured some other people might not either. I figured I would ask and then it would be out there for everyone, instead of me just google searching it myself.
Good luck, and lets see some pics when you have some time

I believe they are referring to the "New Orleans" mint. Coins with an O mint mark.
