I don't know anything about the "hair splitting" that goes on in the higher grades, but my gut says that's a 65 all day long, and maybe better.

Im no expert but I would say MS65, I think it would go higher but is that a small ding on the obv. right in front of the nose? And the shield looks to have some small dings on the rev. It appears to be in a holder what did they grade it? That sure is a beauty I really love the way it is starting to tone.

I'd say MS-64, with a sharp strike, natural toning and no problems. The small scratch in front of Miss Liberty's nose I think would keep it from MS-65.

Beautiful coin!

I'm a big fan of that type of toning. I'd venture to say MS65 based on others I've seen irregardless of the small hits.

WOW this coin is NICEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, bad butt coin dude!

very pretty and the only real flaw was the ding right in center of shield plus a medium nick and a couple tiny nicks on the shield as well. Which does downgrade it a bit just because its directly in the center of the shield so you see it quickly.

Its a easy 63 but because of its beauty I would not be the least surprised at 64 or a weak 65 grading.

It is a gorgeous coin regardless of grade though. You found a real stunner.
