Here are some notes that a woman has paid with at my work. I work at a steakhouse and these were collected from 3 different times that she came to eat. They are crisp and not even folded. Definitely uncirculated. Are they even worth saving though? I like this old design but they aren't that old. I just love how great condition they are all in. I wonder where the woman keeps getting these from. hmm.

Whoops, sorry about the sideways note. Definitely didn't mean to do that. lol.

And by the way, I know nothing about paper currency, so if you can tell me anything about these then that would be awesome :)

Keep them. Pretty old for a bill and in awesome condition. Maybe not much of a premium but I would think a little. Maybe some day worth it.

Thanks guys. I'm really curious where she gets them. Next time she comes in which will probably be next weekend, I'm going to ask her.

I would pay a little premium on them. Love me some older bills.

I would keep them unless you absoultely need the cash. I don't think there is much of a premium at all on these. I was just at a coin shop the other day and a guy brought in even older notes including red seal $2's and $5's, and $1 and $5 silver certificates and the coin shop owner basically told the guy to spend them as there was so little demand for these. Like you though, I prefer the older style bills and keep them for myself. I pulled a 1974 $20 star note out of an ATM last fall, and it's probably AU condition. I asked a couple of dealers if they were interested and they weren't so now it's just sitting comfortably in my safe. :)
