LTMets44 Pillar of the Community United States 580 Posts	Posted 09/19/2011 11:39 pm My wife bought me a 3 cent nickel today. We both never seen one before so she got for me. It was really cheap, but the thing that is confusing to me is that it is really brown like a penny. Is this the actual color? Looking at pictures on the internet, I though they were more of a nickel color. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm sure it's not a fake because there really isn't a reason to fake this coin. It doesn't have any real value. From a distance, you would think it's a Old Lincoln Cent. Report this Post to the Staff

It is hard to tell from your photos, they are a bit blurry and the color appears to be spotty, but the ebay coin is exactly what I am referring to. Report this Post to the Staff
