The dealer I go to charges 3 percent over spot. So I guess not too bad. I think eagles were $3 each over spot

I went to a dealer this morning. I asked to buy an ASE. He said with silver being $31, he would sell me the 2011 for $35. I told him I wanted a 1986, he said $50. He said that the older dates are all $50.
I went to another dealer, She said she'll sell me a 2011 for $35, and she'll sell me any older date for $34.
I am now the proud owner of 1986 ASE for $34. =)

$16 is a wide spread. Wonder if you could have made money taking advantage of it. Like buy at $34, then sell to other dealer at $40 or so.

Silver back under $30...hopefully it stays in the 20's for awhile so I can pick up some silver dimes and halves over the next few weeks/months.

I will never be able to do that. Once I buy these ASE's it hurts to much to try to sell them.

As far as I am concerned, this price pull-back has been terrific. Yes, the silver I own is now worth less than it was last week but so what? I have no interest in selling any of it and would like to buy more. This is an excellent opportunity to add to my growing bullion collection. I have about 212 ozs. so far and have just ordered another 200 ozs. Will repeat in a couple of weeks if prices remain low.

I feel the same. I actually hope it goes a little more down can't believe the Platinum Eagle costs less then the gold! I hope the mint re prices the silver as well not just hold up selling!
