easter eggs is actually how I store all my valuables as well.

Just kidding. If you have the means I suggest albums. That is if you are interested in building sets of coins though. If you are simply gathering numerous different types of coins then you might want to go with flips and binder pages.
I use both these methods. I love my dansco albums, but for coins I am not completing sets for I simply bought some 1.5x1.5 flips (some people use 2X2 flips) and a handful of binder pages.
I also store many of my roll searching finds in rolls in a metal box. I store them there until the roll is filled and then fold up the roll and store it in a cardboard box I got from the bank when I ordered a box of quarters from the bank.
Depending on what you want to collect you have a few really nice choices

If they are not particularly valuable or special, coin tubes are the easiest, most efficent and safe method.

1) Use muliple layers of protection, i.e. coin holder, plastic bag, tupperware. MO LAYERS = MO BETTA
2) Protect from air, moisture and temperature extremes.
3) Store in an area where the temperature remains constant.

The really best way is to do like the old pirates did and bury all your coins in a large box with a skull and cross bones on top. I put all mine in a large container and pour liquid plastic on them.
All above are just statements after a few Martini's.
Actually as BadThad said

In additon I too suggest placing your coins in Albums. Not sure of the Albums over there in your country but I would assume there are several manufacturers that sell their products there as well as in the USA.
Not sure about the sizes of the coins your collecting but many Album manufacturers make a vast assortment of Albums.
The main thing as Thad pointed out is to protect all your coins from exposure to moisture, heat, excessive light and/or almost anything. Don't know if you have what is called Zip Lock Plastic Bags there but those work great for coin protection.
Mainly get those coins out of anything where they can damage each other.
