are any of you still finding these circulating? or does it seem most have been pulled from circulation and into collections?

I know it's a low mintage but this is one commemorative coin I have not seen in circulation for years.

These are very hard to find. I have started searching/noodling through a fair bit of coin again and I find 1 every 2765 coins searched!

wow. do you keep stats on your noodling?
I have just started noodling again and have found that, when I was collecting about 6 years ago, I hadn't found any of these 50's. Looks like my task has become even more challenging.

Yep. I've kept stats of my noodling for a while now. I keep what coins I keep, where I got the coins from and how many and the date I get and return the coins.

I've had 4 of these in the last 2 years but only 1 of them from noodling, the other 3 have been given to me in change :)

I have never seen one in circulation
The 2001 Federation State 50s are rarely seen but the sheep head 50 looks like it has been hoarded to death
