Is it just me or do the 2011 Jefferson nickels appear better struck than in years past?

The reverse, in particular, I find to be very precisely struck and beautiful to look at.

I think they made the dies less convex starting in 2009. I haven't noticed a big difference between 2009/2010/2011.

I agree, their beautiful, thanks for the trade jpsned!
I only opened 1 so far and all are great! Even the end coins were problem free.

I agree. They seem to be struck a lot 'cleaner' I guess you could say. I acquired two complete boxes full of 2011 Ps but I don't have the heart to take them back to the bank. Any suggestions?

Try selling them on ebay by the roll as BU-MS. Could fetch you a small premium, but you never know. The other option is to hold on to them for 30+ years so they will be worth more than a pretty penny (also with its own risks).

I appreciate the suggestion ancientcoinguy. I've checked ebay and looked through the completed listings. Not much is selling and with 100 rolls its hard to know what to do. I've roll searched for about 2 years now and have never gotten a box of all new stuff.

Open some of them to cherry pick the very nicest ones, set a few unopened rolls aside and just dump the rest. They're minted for circulation, so there's no harm in them doing that.

I suppose so. I just know if there is a premium on them in 5 years or ever I'd kick my bum. I have no idea. That is a good idea though. Appreciate the suggestions fellas!
