Thanks for the positive comment Dave.
Your post what is a VAM, and the pictures, really helped me to start seeing things.
Not exactly sure what the meaning of Condition Census is.
Had to go back and look at the coin. There is a rub on the nose, shows more negative in picture then in hand.
I have been enjoying finding and learning about VAM's.
So far I am not getting to attached to any of them.
I am not really sure how to put a value on any of these.
I have no problem helping with the microimaging.
Just let me know how I can help
This coin caught my eye, because of the die clashes.
After reading your post, it help me know what I was seeing.
On the reverse of this coin I can see liberty's Lips, and neck line. Your post was also very helpful in seeing the
date positions. Another coin I found, a 1889 high nine, far date. (I think I have the date right) I left that one at the shop. I think it was listed as a R3.
Thanks again for all the good information you post.
I know sometimes I post some dumb stuff, but I do read 10 times as many as I post, I try to read everything the site experts post, that includes all your posts.

Sure looks like 1C, and darn near the Condition Census, too. Easy 63 and maybe 64. I actually think this one might be reverse-limited rather than the normal obverse. Not necessarily a big value-add, but a highly interesting variety nonetheless.

What's that on the nose, a ding? Nothing is known there for 1C.

If you're keeping this one, I'd like to discuss the possibility (in the next few months) of microimaging it. It's a terrific clash.
