This may be regular issue, or commem, each has 1-3 famous people.

5 centavos, 10, 25, half and one pesos. UNC in hard case. Was it a gubmint issued set? SCWC list? Gorgeous electric blue bullseye toning on both sides of every coin. Dime is completely blue on one side.

I know the Franklin Mint makes "Coin sets Of All Nations Collections"..

However I'm not sure if this is one of the sets you are referring to...

No indication of FM, might be put together by a dealer, or issued by the gubmint. I know Krause lists some gubmint sets at the end of countries' listings.

The coins you are describing are the intended for circulation kind.

I have a 2006 SCWC.

In the individual coin section, krause lists them as common, but those with a 'T' (London) mintmark available in limited qty as more valuable uncirculated.

At the end of the section, krause lists a 1983 mint set with 2000 mintage, issue price $10, market value $15. They also list proof sets but they seem to be not all 5 coins in the same set.

This must be the common ones in the mint set. Classic example of rarity not = value. If this was a US coin set, people would be all over it.

Interesting side points:

the peso is ten-sided.
the three larger coins are medal reverse, the smaller two are coin reverse.
killer toning.

Thanks for the lookup.
