Went to get gas yesterday put $20.01 in the tank went in to pay and the attendant was rude and had to have his penny so I gave him $21.00 and within the change he gave me a 1962 D/D quarter! Thank god for rude ppl :-)wish I had a better camera.

I almost always pay cash for everything and I frequently use large bills just so that I get the change. I look through all the bills (found some silver certificates) and all the coins when I get home. None of my change goes back into the wallet until I've had a good look.

Really hard to tell by your photo but it looks like MD to me.Very common on silver Washington quarters.
