Not on the mint site yet. Masters only for now I assume?
Edit: Just noticed the first line of your post. I feel stupid.

Thanks for the heads up jp.
Well, it looks like I'll have enough cash left for Christmas presents this year. As I watch metal prices tumble, gold and platinum is out of the question for me. I could not care less about Gretzky... so I guess a couple silver coins might be coming my way. The $20 Canoe is a no brainer.

If anybody would like to know the specs for any of the coins above, let me know and I will copy & paste them from the mint's page.

I'd be pretty interested in knowing the specs on the Diamond Jubilee coins :)

I like the coins all very well but the prices are out of this world. I think I'll buy silver ML's this year just for a change.

I like the Cougar, never got the Moose, price is too high on both. The Canoe is my favorite. I would like to see them expand into gemstones instead of crystal elements. The diamond is nice. But I am getting annoyed with all the elements and now diamonds with the same shape.

I agree, just the young queen would have been fine I think. The way they mount the diamond is a neat idea. Expect Crystal coins to feature this see-through concept in a not too distant future. At today's price, there is 1166 USD worth of gold. Not bad, but not that good either. As for the diamond, wholesale cost is roughly $90 to $150 depending on size, purity and color. That's "wholesale" price. Diamonds are overly exaggerated luxury items... you can buy the same diamond for a few bucks on ebay. Not my cup of tea. The RCM scores high marks for novelty on this one. But in my mind 1500 coins are WAY too many to create any sort of demand/rarity/excitement at that price point. Mintage of 500 would have been interesting.

I really like the platinum cougar coin, but to put out 3 grand I don't really think it's going to be the smartest thing to do with my money. And I know the gold version is going to be to small.
I ordered the Queens 3 coin set, hope it's not going to be a let down.

Diamond studded coins are not really a new idea. The Perth Mint has offered 1 kilogram selective gold plated silver bullion coins for the Chinese market some time ago. I was also looking at the $500 dollar gold coin - same design as the old Canadian $10 gold coin. Actually I have one of these, (the old $10 that is), - it has the same specification as the U.S. eagle of the same period. Handsome coin.

Sierra Leone also issued a diamond studded coin in honor of the centennial of Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
