Found this lincolin cent while searching threw an old jar of coins .would like some help . is this a doubled
dated coin.

It is Machine Doubling.

Hard to tell with the pictures. I am 100% there is Machine Doubling. It could also be a Doubled Die (although its unlikely) Can you tell if the Serifs on the 7 and 2 are separated? I'm not an expert but with a clearer picture of the date you would get a definitive answer.

The 72DD was fairly bold.....maybe not quite like the 55, but it would already be obvious in pictures this size. It's certainly not the "valuable" 72DD. There might be some slight doubling in that date, I can't really tell, but if there was the coin still wouldn't be worth much as it's not the die pair that made the real 72DD

hesgut- there are several 72 Doubled Dies...one was profound...several were mild.
