ebay is the obvious answer...few helpful hints - take good pics, do your research and start the coins at the price you feel comfortable selling them at, and MAY want to reconsider a different name...may lose some buyers...just my 2cents though.

You don't think I should try to get them auctioned off at the heritage coin foundation. I am trying to find a way to evaluate the value of my coin collection but I only have the 2007 Red Book to go off of. I would like to know where I can get the latest values on the coins I have so I can set them at a reasonable price.
Rest in Peace

NumisMedia Fair Market Value Price Guide. It's on the web but I do not know how to post a link. On that site you can look up each coin and see what the value is for a variety of grades. Then you just have to determine the grade which you can do here or by using Photograde, which is a free app.

Heritage will not accept consignments that are below a certain value. I've heard of them rejecting single item consignments as high as $1,000 value. For collections, it would have to meet a certain average value per coin.
Rest in Peace

Aw, stick around here and ask questions about your collection. You might just get interested in coin collecting again. If you HAVE to sell them - and I sincerely hope not - that's a different situation.

Yeah unfortunately I don't have enough money to get invest myself in my interests of collecting coins. I would love to do it but I need some sort of financial support as I go through my university. I will try to keep a few but I want to make as much as I possibly can.

For any of your silver or gold coins that are common dates and not in a high grade you need to keep an eye on the melt value of gold and silver. That is the driving force in common date coins of those types right now. I think right this moment isn't the best time to sell them. I suspect that gold and silver are in a temporary dip before returning to at least the highs reached earlier this year.
