I normally check spot prices online at CNN Commodities. Imagine my shock when I checked a 4:49 PM, and saw these numbers:

Gold ..... 1625.00
Silver ... 3170.00
Platinum . 1519.40
Copper .... 326.90

those are still the prices listed.

pretty sad.CNN should have automated testing on such a delicate web service. QA did not good things, oke.

This looks like raw exchange data, not data for the public. Exchange data generally moves the decimal point far enough to the right so there are 3 to 5 digits to the left of the decimal point with the assumption that the user or program is smart enough to know where the decimal point belongs.

That said, CNN should NOT be using raw exchange data in a public presentation. They should massage the data before they present it.

Looks like it's time to cash those copper cents in also. $326.90lb
I think that would be $2.08 each for a cent.
