Long story short, I was at my favorite coin shop conversing with the proprietor and trying to fill some holes in my 7070.
Another person from a different coin shop comes in and sits down next to me and the owner. (Both coin shops owners are friends) and proceeds to pull out a coin in a slab and asked
the owner how much he would pay. Well, I seen the transaction and knew what he paid for it and when he asked for $10.00 more to sell it to me, I snapped it up. There is a twist to this coin, try to guess the grade and the twist.

When looking at the reverse, it almost appears to be in 3D, it is really the prettiest coin I now own and it is only a standard War Nickel.

Nope, no story, it is in plain sight if you know where to look. I wasn't even aware this type of coin was minted.

Is that a 1943/2? Pics are too small to tell so maybe I'm imagining it.

Only 11 coins graded by NGC in this grade and
classification. I was really surprised by the number.

That is nice and all but the pic is much to small to see the DDO. CDN AU ask is $150, how much did you pay if you do not mind me asking?

I know exactly where the PUPs are for this coin but the picture is much too small to actually see it.
