A friend of mine needed some one dollar bills yesterday and went to the bank and bought one hundred of them. When I saw the strap I was very happy because it was a bran-spankin new consecutive strap with the serial 78788701 as the first number. So I got to pick out the 4 binary notes one of which is 78788787.

That's great. I search all my bills and so far the best thing I've found is a serial number ending in 000. One more 0 and it might have been interesting. Oh well.

Good for you -- I'll keep hunting.

That's a nice find and the next strap would have been good as well (88).

I'm sure whom ever got that next strap didn't appreciate the numbers like we would have.

If it was me, I'd drive back to the bank and ask if they have it. They might still have it in the vault. If its not busy, they may even be willing to look around a little.

Nice finds! I only have one binary (can't remember the number-the bill is squirreled away at the moment), but it is pretty worn.
