I agree totally. Just took me 3 years to put my finger on it! Roll searching nickels and was watching star wars with my wife at the same time. If it wasn't for that it would of never came to pass :P

I'm sorry but I don't see any resemblance. First off the dude on the the nickle has saggy jowls. Second, he don't be got no upper lip.

It's mostly the haircut and the way he is standing and looking to the side. That's where most of the resemblance comes from.

I know that its not an exact match from life picture to minted picture but I believe if you minted luke skywalkers face it come out so very similar to the new nickel. IF you look at coins of presidents compared to life pictures it seems to have the same variety.
