It doesn't have to be the same series. It just has to at least be the same denomination or date.

I had one of those shillings, but sold it. Does that count? The date was 1895.

Sorry Susan, your coin should have been another Washington with different date or the coin should have been a 2006. Denomination does not matter. Only the DATE and the coin itself. Because the next poster followed you, you get half a

No, it doesn't count must be one you own. It doesn't have to be another 'shilling' It can be any other coin dated 1893.
