Is this an error or PMD? Looks to be an error to me, but I'm no expert! Thanks.

Does the dented bit look cracked or scratched? Or does it look the same consistancy as the rest of the coin, like it was dented on purpose? Geez that doen;t read very well does it? Ummm, imagine the coin is coated in a thin silver layer, does the dent still have that same thin layer down the edges and through the dent or does it look damaged? This is a 50c that some of the more experienced guys on the site said was NOT PMD can you see how the surface of the dent looks the same as the rest of the coin?

I can't see the detail in the dent well enough in your photo sorry (my eyes are that good! ha ha ha).

Funny that it is the same spot on the Queens face as the one I found...

I cannot tell without viewing it. I keep all my PMD coins though. I collect the really damaged ones :-)
These are the ones that have the story - not the proof!

I have to agree with John1, although I am also no expert. Just my opinion.

Concerned, it does look to be gouged but still has a uniform finish. I will try and get a close up photo and if I do I will post it. PMD or not, I will hang onto it. I'm the same Dibby33 I hang onto some of the most trashed coins I find. Thanks all for the feedback.
