If you get enough posts on these forums you can sell them here for free! You need to reach 250 posts though, so you may need to be patient.

Most every auction house will charge higher fees than ebay. You could try Craigslist, especially if you are in a bigger city where lots of people may see the post. If you do that be careful of scammers though. Coin dealers wouldn't be a good choice either since they'll take a bigger cut than ebay will.

In short, the problem is that any service that can get the coin in front of the right buyers is going to charge you for that service. Of course, since it is free, you can always try Craigslist first and if you don't get the response or offers you want you can later try ebay.

Please keep in mind that your 250 posts need to be quality posts. Rushing through posts in order to sell is not permitted. The idea is to give our members a chance to get to know you better before any sales transaction.

Welcome to CC!

ebay fees won't be any worse than the other options. You could also sell it to a local coin shop. It's really a pretty nice SVDB for being corroded. I think it could be greatly improved with the proper conservation steps. I would consider NCS!

I agree. My first thought was how easily that coin could be properly conserved. NCS is a good recommendation.

I missed the pit by the WE, but I've definately seen worse SVDB's than this one. I think it will fetch pretty good money....I'd guess $600-700, maybe more on ebay.

Wow, it is kind of worn, and tarnished, but, for a 1909 s vdb, you must have had a party!
