Well today I went through my first box of half dollars... unfortunately I didn't find any silver I did however find almost a roll of NIFC, listed below:

-2010d, 2007d, 2001p, 2007d, 2003p, 2002p, 2002d, 2010d, 2008p, 2001p

Now here's my question, what are these worth? Are they worth keeping? I'm mainly into precious metals. And another, are halves not worth hunting anymore?
Thanks everyone!

IDK, too modern to be of value yet.

Sometimes it is worth the time, you just need patience.

Welcome!

I don't believe the '01 are NIFC. That's still really cool, although I don't think those others really carry a premium. Yet, remember, one man's trash...
I've been crhing for almost 4 yrs straight now. I never did get a nice box of halves the whole time. Too many monster hunters and too close to Detroit.
Others have done quite well even up to now, but some have had some serious skunk runs adding up to dozens of boxes of halves.
I will add that I have found multiple solid rolls of 40% in the past, hand rolled and turned in to the bank by customers.
Good luck in the search.

I go 5 different banks and always ask if they have any halves. Almost never even have one. I don't order any and the banks tell me they wish people wouldn't order coins that they really don't want or need. So I just ask if they have any and they never do.
