We're closing in on two weeks of silver coin/set suspensions. Silver continues to drop. Very curious to see what price point certain sets/coins will be relisted at. I'd buy another ASE-W and ASE-S if they go down low enough. Really curious now on the 25th anniversary set. Let's see...buy an iPhone 4s or the 25th Anniversary ASE set... hmmm... Not to mention the ATB pucks.

I have been wondering the same thing. I decided I was going to buy a 2011 silver proof set only to realize that they had suspended sales. Now I've been looking at ebay, but not happy with the prices.

When you price out a 2011 silver proof set from the Mint website, factor in having to ship it back umpteen times because of poor quality.

Let's see, the suspensions were initiated on Monday, 9-26. I believe it takes about 2 weeks for the Federal register to be updated, so by that schedule we should see the products return on sale on or about 10-10. I'm guessing each of the products will drop about $7 or $8 per ounce, as the prices on the silver items were averaged out with a $37.50 spot. Thus the silver quarter sets should be about $32.95, the full silver proof sets at $54.95, the proof ASE at $55.95, the burnished ASE at $50.95, with the ATBs with a massive price reduction to $229.95. I'm also hoping for a $199.95 to $239.95 price range for the 25th Anniversary Silver Eagle set if silver continues in its current $30/oz holding pattern... What's really odd during the suspension last week, the Mint added the release dates for NP7-Glacier for 10-25, and NP8-Olympic for 11-29.

Just looked and the 2010 and 2011 silver proof sets are repriced and available, but the burnished ASE isn't yet.

The silver proof set is now priced at $67.95. Anyone recall what it was before it was suspended? I know I recorded what I paid for it a few months back, but that's in a spreadsheet at home.

Trippy. It was priced @ $67.95 from the get go. Not sure what the point of suspending the 4 annual sets for a week and then bring them back at the exact same prices! There is a last opportunity section now added, which is useful.

As mentioned above, silver proof sets are back with what apprears to be the same price as when suspended. The US Mint seems to still be trying to get as much as they can from collectors. The Unc and Proof Silver Eagles were still not available as of 8:45 CDT. Maybe tomorrow.

Looks like everything's back for sale. Pucks at $229.95. ASE proofs at $58.95. ASE UNC's at $50.95. And as mentioned above, Silver Proof 2011 set is unchanged at $67.95. Who's buying?

Hah! I'm surprised they actually dropped $50 on the 5 oz'ers. The ASEs are better priced, although I was surprised about the '11 silver sets staying where they are. The '10s I can understand, since the end of sales are rapidly approaching. Might have to pick up an extra uncirculated.

I bought NP6 late this afternoon. Unless silver drops and stays in the low 20's, we will not see another restructure.

The ASE Proofs are only a buck cheaper from when I had my subsciption fulfilled over the Summer. I'm eagerly awaiting the 25th Anniversary Set.
