I have just started roll searching a couple weeks ago, can anyone help me out with this coin? I took a bunch of pictures, but I can not get them any clearer.

you can see in the second picture, it looks like the D is closed off over the stem of the P and you can see the extra sticking out on top of the D.

Any idea what is up with this coin? ideas, value? Thanks!

Hang on -- I'm sure the experts will be along soon.

I see something going on there but I can't figure out why a coin from Denver traveled to Philly to get its MM repunched. LOL I suppose it is more likely the die got shipped. But I have no idea about such things.

I didn't think over-mint-marks were possible on such a recent date (due to changes in the way mintmarks were applied). I have no idea what's going on here - it might just be a die chip.
Rest in Peace

Maybe there was some dirt on the die...? It's a puzzler.

The pictures are not large and clear enough to say anything conclusive about it at all. However, it is almost certainly not an OMM.
