1988 Jefferson Nickel D/P? Repunched Mint Mark / RPM ? Help Please

timras14 Valued Member United States 273 Posts	Posted 10/07/2011 10:05 am I have just started roll searching a couple weeks ago, can anyone help me out with this coin? I took a bunch of pictures, but I can not get them any clearer. you can see in the second picture, it looks like the D is closed off over the stem of the P and you can see the extra sticking out on top of the D. I see something going on there but I can't figure out why a coin from Denver traveled to Philly to get its MM repunched. LOL I suppose it is more likely the die got shipped.
