Went to the Clinch River Antiques Festival in East Tennessee today, which is supposed to be the largest such festival in the Southeast. They had anything you could imagine, though not a whole lot of coins. I did manage to pick up a few though at decent (I think) prices. Got a Bicentennial of the Constitution commemorative proof for $40, and '86 proof set for $9, and some Soviet coin which I know jack about for five bucks. Looks like a Lenin commemorative or something, came in a small blue velvet box.

Lenin, if that is who that is, sure doesn't look too happy to be on that coin.

Here are some info on your USSR coin:
Y# 197.1 Rouble, Copper-Nickel;
1985 Mintage 1,960,000 $3.50 Unc;
1985 Proof Mintage 40,000 Value $6.00;

Y# 197.2 Rouble (Edge Lettering: 1988.N.),
1985 Proof (restrike) Mintage 55,000 Value $4.50

Even if you only break even on the money, you still had FUN!

Not even close.

Although I would not mind having that in my dark side collection.
