Just got an RCM shipment notice as well... 2 bees and one dino. Too bad my third bee and second dino are tied up in a separate order with the Group of 7 subscription and the sugar maple. Now I know that with free shipping I should always order every item by itself, as they won't always split orders to give us better service when part of the items get delayed.

With the latest release, I ordered almost everything separately because I suspect that orders may be consolidated for shipping. I know the RCM do sometimes ship separately but I'm leaning towards believing that they will or have stopped doing that too. My April 2nd order of 2 Glass bees, 2 dinos, a grosbeak, a painted aster quarter and a sugar maple leaf has been stalled. The only coin that shipped was the ML and that was weeks ago.

They split my orders up all the time. Creates headaches tracking what been shipped and what hasn't. Seems to be no rhyme or reason to how they do things.

seems hard to analyze RCM's pattern:) my april 2's order contains 1 glass bee, 1 dino and 1 sugar maple leaf(in one order), the sugar maple leaf was delivered 1 month ago, now the remaining 2 just shipped. from now on, I will place order for every coin seperately

well my Group of 7 coin and box came in today. No shipping notification whatsoever and it's still in my account as processing (i understand the subscription will say that until the end) but the coin itself still says (processing) as well.
oh well, I'm happy :)
now I just need my Fab 15, and my 2 loons.

Some how I ordered two 20 for 20 subscriptions. They shipped two sets of 3 coins, two weeks apart. Could not believe it when the second set of three coins arrived. No email, no notification, just surprise. Thanks Mint.

I'm going to have to come up with my own tracking system for my mint orders. I'm so confused with what I read on my tracking orders page. I always ordered all the coins in one order, so now with half being listed as shipped and half still processing, going back through several pages. No emails from the mint saying when coins will be shipped, not always told when coins are shipped. Its so bad I think I might send Toronto 1 a friend request... well maybe not that bad yet but....... get it together RCM!

I ordered 3 Canadian Legendary Nature Circulation 25-Cent 12-Pack end of Dec. Got an email in Apr saying they are delayed. Emailed them last week, no response. I am a little worried as it has beem a long tim and I only ordered from the mint a couple of times. Not very good service if they are looking for me to be a repeat customer. At least it seems to be happening to a lot of us. Cheers.

I also ordered Legendary Nature sets in December. Received an email May 5 stating delivery would be in 5-6 weeks. In a similar vein, I tried to cancel my order for latest 20 for 20 on May 17. My order had been placed the day before the mint placed ads everywhere offering free shipping. Still waiting to hear if my cancellation went through.

Makes me wonder what the Mints holding costs are with all these delays. If the coins are minted it's got to be huge. Having millions of dollars of inventory sitting around and you are missing one crucial item to ship. Holding inventroy in the millions of dollars costs money and can prevent you from buying more resources without access to some form of credit. Or the scrap rate the are encountering with a bad paint process. It's possible they simply don't have the means to produce everything they wanted to sell. They may have projected mint runs with a longer time frame but all these many record breaking sellouts may have messed up their process planning. Obviously the delays are not effecting sales. Within the last release how many coins have sold out, 5 or 6?
Its obvious the management at the mint is upset. You don't make someone send out a generic apology for no reason. Would have been nice if it was truly heartfelt. Also the fact that it was sent to almost every customer shows they are hearing our pain.
I can't wait to see what happens next. Mostly I just want my coins.

the way things look, I think I'm going to stop buying from the mint directly and just order through my local post office. saves me a whole lot of head ache wondering what and when my coins are going to be shipped.

I just got an email saying my 20 for 20 has been shipped. Apparently two weeks is not enough time to cancel an order.

Last week I ordered the two loons coin, and I added on the 2012 Maple Leaf Forever silver coin as well. I got the MLF coin yesterday and when I opened it up, noticed that the COA shows that mine is number 14 out of 100000! This coin has been on sale for quite some time now, not sure how that happened. To tie this in with this thread, it took about 6 calendar days between me placing the order and receiving this coin. Of course the Two Loons one will be shipped later. Seems to be no rhyme or reason to the RCM's shipping lately.
