I didn't know that either Carl. I commend you for your generosity to other collectors and I am hoping for the best in the next round of tests.

I had completed a B1 Reverse Morgan set (which is very short but hard to find all of them) and had the collectors society #1 set in the category but I sold off the coins to get some of the tougher coins for my dansco7070, but it was complete before I sold it and had all finest known specimens in it

I remember looking at that set Bryan, and I think I now own a lesser member from it. It sure was a nice set. I think your 7070 is outstanding though, and I think I like it better....

Everyone working on interesting stuff nice. Carl, yes you are a generous man. Christina, nice collections and I bet that Large Cent collection is very nice in the higher grades as you have them. Stephen I just sold a few Walker short set dates in 64 wish I knew you were upgrading maybe could have helped you out there. Coggie, let me know when you are ready to start Barber dimes, I have a few I do not need.

Ronaldb, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I'd like to have all dates/mints from 1801-1839. Obviously some of these are going to have to be in very low grades. Overall, I like the F15-VF30 range. These coins wear beautifully and I like the way they tone. I actually prefer a circulated coin to a BU coin in this series.

I also wish Carl the best. Having been diagnosed with prostate cancer, skin cancer, and Chronic Leukemia, I understand about dealing with the disease. I am doing well, and certainly hope Carl also does well.

Regarding completed sets, there's good news and bad news.

The good news is that I have several completed, including:

Jefferson nickels
Roosevelt dimes
Kennedy half dollars
Statehood Quarters to date, both "D" and "P"
Franklin half dollars
Sacagawea Dollars, including proofs
ASE, uncirculated one ounce silver
Canadian Silver (one ounce) Maple Leafs
UK Britannias (one ounce silver)
Australian Kookaburras (one ounce silver)
Australian Lunar Coins (one ounce silver)

Now the bad news.

I don't have a conpleted set of anything really significant or noteworthy.

If I live long enough I would really enjoy completing my Lincoln Cents, Walking Liberty Halfs, and Washington quarters.

About the only complete set of anything that I've assembled is a set of United States one cent coins of the Bush administration minted between the Mississippi River and the Continental Divide.

Actually I'm working on a set of Kennedy half dollars including PDS but they have to be pulled from circulation by myself (which includes roll searching). I'm not including the Silver proofs - although I've actually found a 2002S silver. I've found a number of S halves (including 1987 and 1976), plus I've found 1987P and a 1970D. I think the next two hard ones will be 1987D and 1970S.

Karrlot, Nice thing to do from circ. sometimes the find is more exciting that way. I am doing Proof Kennedys from 64 to 90, just started this as I traded someone for the proofs so might as well try to make some kind of set.

I have most of a Mercury dime set, and most of a wheatie set, but am now working on a proof set of Franklin half dollars (including the 64 Kennedy. I want to get them all in the origional packaging and remove them myself. I needed something to spend money on while I read the morgan encyclopedia I want to know what I am doing before I buy more Morgans.

Complete can be fun, almost complete can be very frustrating. The reason why most of my sets that aren't complete aren't is because I took off on another set when I got down to that last piece I could afford. The annoying thing is that now I CAN afford most all of those pieces that stopped me but I don't go back and get them because I am concentrating so much on the set it started after I hit the stopper.

Conder, looks like you should have accompanied Grovey on her trip to the Charlotte show.

What grade are all of your sets in? Sounds like you have quite the collection. Have you started any world coins or commemorative sets?
