$104.83. I really like the look of the 1893 Columbian Expo Half. I would like to see Christopher though. Mine is all purple, and it's a MS63. Your's COULD be way up there.

Ok. So apparently others made him offers, but were lower than mine. I ended up offering him $60. Which he accepted. When I got them from him I clumsily looked through them real quick just to make sure everything was there. When I got home I searched though the box to see what I had purchased and this is what I got:
1961 Uncirculated Franklin half (Sealed)
1976 Bicentennial Proof Set
1991 Proof Set
1984 Proof Set
1958 D Silver Quarter
Uncirculated Silver Bicentennial Set (Sealed)
Sealed Bicentennial Half and Quarter with San Francisco mint Token
Several Denver and Philadelphia Unicirculated Tokens
2000 Uncirculated Penny (sealed) Why?...I dunno...
2000 P Sacagawea dollar (Not Cheerios) Dang...
1942-1945 Silver War Nickel Set from each mint -(Individually Encapsulated)
1964 Silver Kennedy half
1927 Buffalo nickel
1921 Buffalo nickel
1936 Buffalo nickel
1937 Buffalo nickel
1926 Buffalo nickel
1888 Nickel
1902 Nickel
1908 Nickel
1911 Nickel
2 1974 6th Annual Coin Show Maui Coin Club Medals
1973 Hawaii Dollar #604
1973 Maui Dollar
1969 Philadelphia Mint Medal
2 1973 Kauai Dollars
1914 D Barber dime VF
1912 D Barber dime
2 1914 Barber dimes
1903 Barber dime
1911 D Barber dime
1912 Barber dime
1912 S Barber dime
1906 Barber dime
1916 S Barber dime
1945 Mercury dime
1925 Mercury dime
1942 Mercury dime
Canadian Bicentennial Silver Dollar
Canadian Bicentennial Silver Half
Canadian Bicentennial Silver Quarter
Canadian Bicentennial Silver Dime
Canadian Bicentennial Silver Nickel
Canadian Bicentennial Penny
3 Sealed Special Issue Nickels.

A Pretty good haul for 60, right?

But then There was this other coin in the box. Another Canadian coin, also 1967 Bicentennial. As I picked it up I thought to myself "Wow this is pretty heavy! A $20 dollar coin, hmmm I've never seen one of those before." I decided to look it up. I nearly crapped my pants... This is what I had:

Price-For-These-Coins?

These pictures don't do the coin justice(the first pic looks silver because of crappy lighting)...she's a real beauty in VF to EF condition (IMHO).

Checked the weight: 18.33 Grams.

I kinda feel sorry for the guy. But when I was originally asking him about the coins he became kinda hostile when I started asking specifics. At one point he told me he didn't know anything about coins and didn't want to know anything... So I dunno...I guess I don't feel too bad.

What do you guys think of my purchase?

If you want to see pics of anything in particular just let me know.

Wasn't the War Nickel set in an 11 piece holder in the op? Are they UNC? That $20 coin is gold is it not? Nice buy.

Oh what a deal! I wouldn't feel bad about it at all, that is the cost of ignorance. (And not like you are fleecing widows and orphans).

The $20 is worth its weight in gold, 'bout $700 today. A great purchase.

That was a GREAT haul....Congrats~!! I have that same set of nickles in the same plastic Capital holder. Bought it at a coin show about 20 years ago. I think I paid $25 for it then.

I would say $25 or $30 would be fair, depends on if the proof sets they have are silver or not. Hard to say without knowing details.

OMG OMG OMG.... this is one of my favourite coins...

You can buy them in MS condition and pay melt.. you buy 'em all baggy it's the same price....

How about I pay you 120 for the '67 $20 coin and that's a quick double your money flip! LOL
