to the coin wonderland! 1964's were made with very worn working hub dies. The details had stretched towards the outer rim in a process known as "Metal Flow" This had a distortion to the lettering, at times they touched the rim and disappeared. The reverse appears to be slightly offset, this may just be a Misaligned die (MAD) or even a "broadstruck" coin where the collar on the die press didn't fully deplot and surround the coin when struck. We'd have to see the rim of the coin to tell.

sissy- Would you please explain exactly what it is you want to know? You must be seeing something the rest of us can't. To me it just looks like a well circulated cent that has the high spots starting to wear down.
