Sweet!

Hope you don't mind, but I white balanced them. Is this color fairly accurate?

Thanks Numi.. The color is somewhere in the middle. There is a deep golden mint glow to the coin.

OK, maybe more like this?

Maybe I could get a job with SGS and "tone" their coins

Your 38 D is gorgeous with satin surfaces and boldly struck devices. It is a beautiful coin even if it is only a 67!

ONLY a 67? A 67 for a coin that was made 73 years ago is not ONLY IMO.

I see a couple scratches above the braid in the hair. If those are on the coin and not the holder, there is where the grade comes from.

No doubt about it, you have a super coin, but if it was graded 65, 66, 67 or higher, I couldn't tell the difference. The whole TPG concept is out of control. Super high grades are common now where they were scarce years ago. With bullion coins graded 69s & 70s being hawked on TV, an unsuspecting public (and many collectors) are in for a big let down at resale time, IMHO.

Amazing buffalo! Stunning to look at.

I agree the TPGs are out of control.

How much squash could a Sasquatch squash if a Sasquatch would squash squash?

It's on the market! I decided Gem BU was as high as I needed to go in my Type Set, so I traded this beauty to my favorite dealer for a MS66 and future draft choices. If you are interested in it, I'm sure he'll be more than glad to work with you. I've never met a more honest dealer than Steve or his son Greg. His contact info is:
